Before assembling, you should carefully study and analyze the assembly drawing. 1. Assembly benchmark

(1) The main working parts in the plastic mold, such as core, cavity and insert, are used as the reference parts for assembly. Other parts of the mold are equipped with assembly reference parts for preparation and assembly.

(2) The base surface of the template side of the guide column guide bush or mold is used as the assembly reference surface for trimming and assembly.

Second, mold assembly accuracy

(1) Each zero, the mutual accuracy of parts, such as distance dimension accuracy, coaxiality, equality, verticality, etc.

(2) Relative motion accuracy, such as transmission precision linear motion and rotary motion precision.

(3) Mating accuracy and contact accuracy, such as the fit clearance, contact condition of interference, etc.

(4) The wall thickness of plastic molded parts. When a new mold is made, the wall thickness of the molded part should be biased to the lower limit of the size.

Third, the repair principle

(1) Repair the release angle, in principle, the cavity should ensure that the large end size is within the tolerance of the part size, and the core should ensure that the small carbonyl size is within the tolerance of the part size.

(2) The corner radius at the corner, the cavity should be small, and the core should be large.

(3) When the mold has both a horizontal parting surface and a vertical parting surface, the correction should be made so that the vertical parting surface touches the horizontal parting surface with a slight gap. The gap value depends on >0.01mm; small molds only need to be painted with red to contact each other; the gap between large molds is about 0.02mm.

(4) For molds that use inclined planes to close the mold, after the inclined planes are tightly closed, a gap of 0.02-0.03mm should be left at the parting surface.

(5) The connection between the arc and straight line of the repaired surface should be smooth, no dents on the surface are allowed, and the filing lines should be consistent with the direction of mold opening.
